Required Skills and Experience

BTech/CS/MCA degree from a premiere institution with 4+ years of software product development experience.
Strong object oriented design and development experience with Java and C++.
2+ years developing cutting edge mobile Blackberry/Android and/or J2ME applications and/or games is a plus.
Experience with multi-threading and memory management on mobile devices.
Experience with other cross-platform mobile development is a plus (BlackBerry, iPhone, Symbian).
Well versed with RDBMS with hands on experience in MySQL a prerequisite
Experience with XML and data manipulation/extraction using parsers.
Strong debugging and trouble-shooting skills and prior experience with performance measurement tools.
Experience in full life cycle software development including design, development, production, testing, roll out, maintenance and support.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced startup environment with dynamically changing requirements.
Outstanding communication and documentation skills, detail oriented and go-getting attitude.
XMPP Knowledge a pre.


Key Responsibilities

Design and develop top of the line mobile applications and games for the BlackBerry platform.
Tuning components for high performance and scalability using techniques such as caching, code optimization, and efficient memory management.
Organize input and feedback from multiple stakeholders to improve usability and functionality.
Contribute creativity and critical thinking to optimally implement new features.
Understands technical and functional design requirements.
Assists in enforcement of development deadlines and schedules with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work load, and meet these milestones.
